Our Veterans Are Here to Support You
Understanding VA benefits, Medicare, and other available resources can feel overwhelming. At The Legacy Connection Insurance Group, our veteran specialists and veteran agents bring both professional experience and firsthand understanding of military service to the families we serve.
Guidance From People Who Understand the Military Community
Our team includes veterans and military families who understand that every veteran has a different story, different needs, and different questions.
At The Legacy Connection, we help veterans and their families better understand available resources, Medicare coverage, VA-related programs, and the steps that may come next.
Our goal is simple: help make complicated information easier to understand and connect you with the resources and support appropriate for your situation.

Where to Start: Intent to File
An Intent to File lets the VA know that you plan to apply for certain benefits. In many cases, it can help protect a potential effective date while you gather the information and documentation needed to complete your claim.
Once an Intent to File is submitted, you generally have up to one year to complete the applicable claim. Taking this step early can be important when exploring benefits that may be available to you or your family.
Our team can help you better understand what an Intent to File is and connect you with the appropriate resources for your next steps.
